Search engines in China

I am wondering where is the original version..

Recently, wikipedia has been banned. Chinese people wish to persuade wiki managers to establish a Chinese-government-approved version. Actually this is a good thing for China, especially for schools in the countryside.

I think this makes a lot of sense, only criticizing Chinese government and stopping service is not an efficient way to go.
